Do We Still Need to Pay Attention to Our Dreams?

If you’re like me, you’re a big believer in symbols and signs. You also view signs and symbols as to how you’re being guided by spirit.

The most prominent form of spirit communication that involve symbols, are our dreams.

This is because while we are dreaming we are not actually in our physical bodies. This is the best time for spirit to communicate with us and show us things. They communicate with pictures and symbols because it’s the easiest way for them to get their messages across.

Every person has their own list of symbols and meanings. Those are symbols that are unique to them. There are also similarities in the symbols we see as a collective.

Being so spiritually connected I often get my messages from dream symbols. I usually will wake right up after the symbolic, message dream and take note of the symbols that were shown to me.

I then usually have a go to dream dictionary where I look up the meanings of the symbols and try and piece together what they mean in my life and to know what spirit was trying to say.

Recently because of the spiritual transition and energetic upheaval this technique isn’t going to be as accurate as it used to be. This is because your psyche and your soul are releasing old patterns and emotional density through the channel of dreams and possibly nightmares.

So this is where it gets confusing. During the purging process you could have very vivid dreams that could be confused for spirit communication symbol dreams. If you confuse the two and look up the symbols it might seem like there are terrible things happening in your life that you need to be aware of. This most likely is not the case.

During this confusing time of spiritual upheaval it is important to use discernment and really feel whether or not a dream symbol is something that you need to pay attention to in your waking life.

With the recent tendency to panic due to global events, it is important to stay centered and rational and maybe even talk to somebody about your dream symbols. Ask yourself is this a message or is this something that I am letting go of?

There has been an occasion or two when I have not been able to figure out the symbols in my dreams. They seem to have no logical meaning in my life. I’ve heard of some spiritual teachers who say to completely disregard dreams and that dreams are not important.

For me myself, I have made the decision to notice those things and allow the possibility of a valuable message available in them. I’m learning to understand that not all dreams are reflection of my worldly truth.
